LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- Millersville women's basketball Sophomore,
Bryn Zentner, has been named PSAC Athlete of the Week
, as announced by the conference for her performances in the Marauders' first two games of the year.
Zentner, who is in her second year as a Marauder, is coming off an All-Tournament Team selection in the CIAA/PSAC Conference Challenge that took place this past weekend and is now adding Athlete of the Week to her resume.
The sophomore forward put up video game numbers in the first two games of the year, averaging a double-double. Zentner averaged 16.5 PPG and 15 RPG throughout the duration of the tournament. With an impressive performance to open the year, Zentner grabbed 17 rebounds and scored 16 points in a season-opening victory against the Lincoln University Lions. Less than 24 hours later, Zentner continued her dominance in a close loss to Fayetteville State with 17 points and 13 total boards.
This is Zentner's second PSAC Athlete of the Week honor in her early career at Millersville.
