Marauders take eighth as West Chester wins PSAC Championship

LEBANON, Pa. - The Millersville men's golf team finalized at eighth place in the PSAC Championship after three days of play at Iron Valley Golf Club. 

The Marauders shot their highest round of the three day tournament at a team total of 31-over. They ended the tournament at 74-over through 54 holes of golf. 

Bo Meakim shot 4-over with two birdies, he accounted for half of the teams birdies today. Josh Baker was the most consistent shooter for the Marauders this weekend as he shot five over on day one, five over on day two, and eight over on day three to bring him to 18-over through the tournament. Cole Duffy shot 9-over Sunday despite shooting one under yesterday to end his first PSAC Championship appearance at 18 over. Max Pfleiger shot 10-over today to be the third Marauder to finish the tournament at 18-over-par. Logan Wagner ended his PSAC Championship debut at 36-over. 

West Chester won the PSAC Championship after surging up the leaderboard in the final day to jump Pitt-Johnstown who led the tournament after day two. West Chester, as a group, had 15 birdies in Sunday's round. West Chester finished with four players in the top 15. 

The Marauders have one more outing to close out their fall season at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on October 27.
