MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Twenty-eight Millersville women's cross country team members started their 2024 season with the Alumni Run 3K Friday evening at Freedom Park. Morgan Janiuk paced the team while alum Josh Foulds '11 led the pack.
Janiuk has been the top collegiate runner in the season-opening alumni run three years in a row. She posted a time of 11:08. Bri Pollock crossed the finish line in 11:26 with Emily Massage following in 11:58 and Marissa Mounce posting a 12:02.
This is our kickoff," said Millersville head coach Andy Young. "We had an oddity in the schedule that we start officially next week, so this is our alumni run that we always do. This will be a good test of their fitness."
Foulds was the top alumni finisher, posting a 10:09. Greg Cauller '82 ran a 13:33, and Taylour Mauro '18 ran a 13:58.20.
Millersville's season begins in earnest on Sept. 7 at Navy's Cantello Invitational.
