Marauders complete finale at Bloomsburg to start 4-0 in division

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Millersville baseball returned to Bloomsburg Tuesday afternoon to complete the final 2 2/3 innings of the series final that had been suspended two days prior because of snow. Millersville closed out the win 7-2 and to complete the series sweep.
Play was initially halted with Millersville leading 7-1 with a runner on base in the bottom of the fifth. Conor Cook's start ended there on Sunday, and Evan Rishell picked up where he left off with a pair of strikeouts to strand a pair of runners. Millersville's relievers walked three in the sixth but escaped the jam with just one run allowed. Cole Fisher worked into the seventh before Mike Costello got the final two outs.
Cook (2-0) earned the mound win after pitching 4 1/3 and striking out four. Four Marauder relievers recorded two outs.
Millersville scored all of its runs on Sunday. John Seibert led the way with three singles and three RBIs. The Marauders also drew six walks, were hit by three pitches and stole three bases.
Millersville returns to Cooper Park on Friday, March 15 to host Mansfield for a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
