Jon Shehan named ABCA/ATEC Atlantic Region Coach of the Year

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - After leading Millersville University baseball to an NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship, head coach Jon Shehan was voted by his peers as the ABCA/ATEC Division II Atlantic Region Coach of the Year.
Shehan is now a four-time ABCA Atlantic Region Coach of the Year, having previously won the award in 2011, 2013 and 2016. Millersville's 46 victories in 2023 were the second-most in program history, and Millersville closed the season as the No. 6-ranked team in the nation. The regional championship was the third for Shehan.
Shehan completed his 16th season in 2023 with a 557-259 record and a .682 career winning percentage, which ranks 13th among active Division II coaches and 25th all-time. He has led the Marauders to 11-straight NCAA regional appearances, which is the longest active streak in the region. The 2023 season marked Shehan's sixth 40-win campaign and 10th PSAC East title.
