Htwar named PSAC East Athlete of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Millersville University junior Noelle Htwar has been named the PSAC Eastern Division's Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week after leading the Marauders to a win over Chestnut Hill.
Playing No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles, Htwar helped Millersville to its first dual win of the season. Htwar battled for a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) win in the top singles flight and then teamed with Hui Jen Soo for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles, securing two points for the Marauders.
It is the first conference athlete of the week award win for Htwar, who was the 2021 PSAC East Freshman of the Year and is a two-time All-PSAC East Doubles First Team selection. Htwar was also named All-PSAC East Singles First Team in 2021-22. So far this season, she is 5-7 in doubles competition including 2-3 with Hui Jen Soo. She is 4-8 in singles play.
The Marauders are in action at home on Tuesday, March 21 against Wilmington.
