Millersville women's golf places sixth at Evann Parker Memorial

ERIE, Pa. - The Millersville women's golf team finished in sixth place at the two-round Evan Parker Memorial Classic hosted by Mercyhurst at Lakeview Country Club.

The Marauders shot scores of 348 and 353 while Gannon took the team title with rounds of 313 and 309 and a 622 total.

Charley Kirby was Millersville's top finisher, tying for 12th at 20-over-par. She shot an 84 in the opening round and improve with an 8-over 80 in round two. Amanda Wolf finished in 15th with a 23-over 36-hole score. Taylor Hileman made her way into the top 25 at 29-over. Lex Pfeufer finished in a tie for 27th, shooting the two lowest rounds of her young career, first shooting an 88 in the first round and closing with an 86. Sydney Barnes tied for 48th and Anabella McGowan placed 56th.

Millersville continues play in Erie, Pa. on Sunday and Monday as it competes in the Gannon Invitational.
