Marauders pick up nine wins at Coach I Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. – Millersville women's indoor track and field opened the new year with a strong performance at the Coach I Invitational. The Marauders earned seven individual first-place finishes and two relay first-place finishes.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Millersville finished with the best three marks in the weight throw. Hannah Woelfling led with a 55' 2" mark, she was followed by Cassie Sharrow with a 44' 5" mark and Maddy Downs rounded out the top-three with a 43' 6" mark.
Woelfling also led the Marauders in the shot put, earning second place with a distance of 40' 7.5". Seya Trujillo (37' 8.25") and Maddy Downs (37' 7.25") followed Woelfling in third and fourth place.
Ava Ceulers ended the day with a second-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 15' 3.5".
Lauren Festa finished first in the triple jump with a distance of 32' 1".
Darian Hauf and Megan Malecki topped the group of women's pole vaulters with a height of 11' 5".
Lillian LaBure (10.21) and Sabela Zablackis (10.22) finished first and second in the 60-meter hurdles.
Emma Elwell (8.15), Heather Lesinski (8.22) and Arianna Kouakou led the group of women's 60-meter dash runners.
Abbey Sullivan placed second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:28.70.
Lindsay Solderitch (1:02.45) and Cora Heilman (1:03.76) grabbed first and second place in the 400-meter dash.
Morgan Janiuk led the 3000-meter runners with a time of 11:02.34.
Elwell, Solderitch, LaBure and Sullivan ran as the Millersville "C" team and took home first place in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 4:15.75.
De'Asia Holloman, Aubrey Syndor, Emily Skidmore and Elwell ran as the Millersville "B" team in the 4x200-meter relay and took home first with a time of 1:48.71.
