Marauders earn four top finishes at Mini Dip Invitational

LANCASTER, Pa. – Millersville women's indoor track and field continued its 2022-23 schedule at Franklin & Marshall on Friday. The Marauders competed in the Mini Dip Invitational and took home four first-place finishes.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Cassie Sharrow finished fourth in the weight throw, leading Millersville with a distance of 44-7.
Hannah Woelfling placed second in the shot put with a distance of 41-10. She was followed by Seya Trujillo in third who recorded a PSAC qualifying distance of 38-9 ¼. Downs (38-5 ¾) and Sarah Hessler (37-6 ½) took fourth and fifth respectively.
Ava Ceulers (15-6 ½) led the Marauders in the long jump with a fourth-place finish.
Ashly Dodd earned a third-place finish in the triple jump (31-11).
Lyndsey Kregel finished fifth in the high jump, hitting a height of 4-7.
Darian Hauf finished second in the pole vault with a height of 11-5.
Three Marauders finished top-five in the 60-meter hurdles. De'Asia Holloman led the group in second (9.23), followed by Lillian LaBure in fourth (10.03) and Sabela Zablackis (10.22) in fifth.
Aurora Conrad (7.99), Emma Elwell (8.00), Darian Hauf (8.16) and Heather Lesinski (8.20) all notched top-five finished in the 60-meter dash.
Morgan Janiuk placed first in the mile with a time of 5:21.57.
Aubrey Syndor (2:26.12) and Lindsay Solderitch (2:26.86) placed fourth and fifth respectively in the 800-meter run.
Mia Carson led the 400-meter runners with a time of 1:02.12. Shelby Derkosh (1:02.62) placed second, while Julia Fallows (1:03.67) earned fifth.
Conrad (26.33) and Elwell (26.42) led the group of 200-meter dash runners. Lesinkski earned fifth place with a time of 27.63.
Carson, Derkosh, Fallows and Ashlyn Hickey ran as the Millersville "A" team in the 4x400-meter relay and took home second place with a time of 4:17.87.

The Marauders will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 5 at East Stroudsburg for the Deshriver Invitational. The meet is slated for a 9:30 a.m. start time.
