| By:
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville University track and field team has one home event on their regular season schedule, and they made it count, winning the 39th Millersville Metrics with a team score of 172.50. The next closet team was East Stroudsburg, who finished with 80 team points, under half the Marauder total, as Millersville dominated the 20-team meet.

'Ville saw six first place finishes, and 11 top three finishes on the day, which are outlined at the top of the meet highlights below.

The Marauders have now won the Metrics four times since 2013, winning in 2014, '16, '18, and '22. The 172.50 team points is the highest total in meet history since the stat started being tracked back in 2013, surpassing the 161.5 points East Stroudsburg scored in 2019.

REACTION FROM HEAD COACH ANDY YOUNG:
"Of course it's fun to win but we saw some good developments with our athletes. We hope to keep improving and see that through to the end. Hannah Woelfling with a tremendous hammer throw. Morgan Janiuk in the 1500, Darian Hauf in the PV, and our 4x100 looked good. Aliyah Striver with a big PR in the hammer. Lots of PSAC qualifiers and PRs today."
