'Ville men's tennis too much for West Chester

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Fully healthy for the first time all spring, the Millersville men's tennis team blanked visiting West Chester 7-0 in Tuesday's PSAC action.
The Marauders have now won three in a row, five of their last six and four-straight PSAC matches to improve to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in league play. Having battled the injury bug all semester, the Marauders played its standard lineup and made quick work of the Golden Rams. Millersville has now won the last four meetings with West Chester and the last three have come via shutout.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• Carlos Martinez-Lucas and Frank Yanni scored their 19th win over the season with a 7-5 win over Felix Weber and Andre Zequeria at No. 1 doubles. Dylan Tull and Lino Morin (No. 2) and Santiago Ramos and Zach Pernia (No. 3) both won 6-1 to complete the doubles sweep. Tyll and Morin have won five of their last six, and Ramos and Pernia have won six of their last eight.
• Millersville dominated singles action, winning all six matches in straight sets and not dropping more than two games in any set. Tully won for the fifth time in six matches for his team-leading 15th win--the most wins by a Marauder since 2002.

• Millersville travels to Frostburg State for a dual against the Bobcats on Friday, April 15, and then plays Charleston at Frostburg on Saturday, April 16.
