Box Score MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Millersville women's basketball team dropped its regular season finale to Lock Haven Saturday afternoon, 66-57. The Marauders would have clinched the final postseason berth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East with a victory over the Bald Eagles and a West Chester loss to East Stroudsburg, both were unable to happen, as the Golden Rams clinched with a victory over ESU.
The Marauders hung around with the Bald Eagles early in play, putting up 12 first-quarter points, eight of coming from
Erika Reed and
Makiah Shaw. This led them to a three-point deficit after one quarter.
Second-quarter action was more of the same, as each team put up 15 points to leave the Bald Eagles with a three-point advantage heading into halftime at Pucillo.
Makiah Shaw (8) and
Lauren Lister (7) led the Marauders in scoring, while
Mia Leonard grabbed four boards.
The Bald Eagles began to pull away in the third quarter, a large part of that came from Jackie Fetsko, who scored six points in the quarter, helping her team to a seven-point lead going into the final quarter.
The fourth quarter was up and down for the Marauders, as they began the quarter off hot, evening the game at 53 with five minutes to play off a Shaw mid-range jump shot. From that point on, the Marauders managed to stay within reach of Lock Haven until just under the one-minute mark, when they fell behind by seven, leading to their eventual defeat.
Millersville finishes its 2021-22 campaign with a 7-20 record, 6-16 in conference play.

- Makiah Shaw led all scorers with 14 points, while Lauren Lister capped off her historic career at Millersville with 12 points and three rebounds.
