Marauders remain in eighth after day two of PSAC Championships

YORK, Pa. – Through day two of the PSAC Championship meet, the Marauders held their position of eighth place, with a total score of 205.5. Conference powerhouses West Chester and IUP continue to lead the pack, with 761 and 668.5 points respectively. The second day of competition featured the 400-IM, 100-Fly, 200-Free, 200-Free Relay, and 400-IM Relay.
 
DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS
  • The 200-Free relay team of Maddi Stoner, Meghan Waldron, Becca Yeager, and Leah Miksa took ninth place with a time of 1:40.37 earning 40 points for the Marauders. Stoner swam her leg of the relay in just 24.61 seconds, good for the fourth best time in program history for a 50-Free.
  • Standout freshman Jordan Plempel took fifth overall in the 400-IM (4:39.65) adding 15 points to the Millersville total.
  • Stoner took 14th overall in the 100-Fly (58.94) as she brought in 13 points.  
  • Yeager missed the cut for the 100-Fly finals by 0.10 seconds, taking 26th at 1:00.84.
  • Carolyn Bolden took 13th in the 200-Free (1:57.04) earning 13.50 points.
  • The relay team of Plempel, Jewels Hepner, Stoner, and Bolden took seventh in the 400-IM Relay (4:02.57) bringing in 46 points.

UP NEXT
Day three prelims begin at 10 a.m. on Friday. The events will be the 500-Free, 100-Back, 100-Breast, 200-Fly, and 200-IM Relay. The PSAC Championship runs through Saturday evening.
