Woelfling shines at indoor track & field opener

Lewisburg, Pa. – The Millersville Indoor Track & Field team saw its first action of the 2022-23 season on Friday and Saturday at the Bison Opener in Lewisburg, Pa. . Hannah Woelfling picked up right where she left off, winning the weight throw with a PSAC qualifying distance of 54-7½.

MEET HIGHLIGHTS

Woelfling, along with her winning performance in the weight throw, placed second in the shot put with a PSAC qualifying distance of 43-7.
Maddy Downs finished just behind Woelfling in the shot put, placing fourth with a PSAC qualifying mark of 40-3¼.
Cassie Sharrow placed fifth in the weight throw with a qualifying mark of 46-8¾.
Darian Hauf and Megan Malecki each earned a share of third place in the pole vault, recording a PSAC qualifying height of 11' 6¼.
Hannah Sweda and Abbey Sullivan finished ninth and 10th respectively in the 3,000-meter with times of 11:18.74 and 11:27.75.
Lindsay Solderitch finished 10th in the 800-meter.
Aubrey Syndor (59.88), Mia Carson (101.35) and Shelby Derkosh (102.46) each earned a top-10 finish in the 400-meter. Syndor placed third while reaching a PSAC qualifying time.
Aurora Conrad earned a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter with a PSAC qualifying time of 26.06.
Conrad (7.81) and Emma Elwell (7.97) each earned top-10 finish in the 60-meter while also reaching PSAC qualifying times. De'Asia Holloman (9.26) earned a top-five finish in the 60-meter.
