
The Marauders stay in third place after round two at PSAC Championship

LEBANON, Pa. - The Millersville men's golf team remains in third place going into the final round at the PSAC Championship after shooting 14-over-par as a team.
After posting a 302 in round two, the Marauders trail Gannon by six strokes and are 16 shots behind Indiana (Pa.) with one round remaining tomorrow. Both schools ahead of Millersville had scores under 300 for the second straight day. The Marauders have shot a team 601 in two rounds and lead the current fourth place team, West Chester, by 15 strokes.
Christopher Knox, Bobby Lugiano and Noah Keener all shot a 2-over-par 74 to lead the Marauders to the third best score in the 10-team field. Knox is currently tied for first place overall after shooting 1-over-par through two rounds. He birdied four holes on the day to shoot even on the front and 2-over-par on the back-nine. Lugiano and Keener both birdied two holes in their day two performances.
There are four Marauders in the top 15 with Ty Morral shooting an 8-over-par 80 this afternoon. Carl Ernst shot a 9-over-par 81 to allow all five Marauders to shoot under 160 through the first two rounds of the PSAC Championship.
Millersville is back on the course Sunday for the final round of the PSAC Championship.
