GREENSBURG, Pa. - Millersville started the second half with a 20-4 run and held on for a 75-63 road win over Seton Hill Saturday afternoon.
Jaden Faulkner led the Marauders with 24 points.
The win boosted Millersville to 7-2 (2-2 PSAC) and got it back in the win column after dropping the previous two games. Millersville won the game with the familiar recipe of defense and rebounding, as it limited Seton Hill to 29.2% shooting from three and won the rebounding battle 43-30. Millersville got the bulk of its offensive production at the line where it made 26-of-39 while Seton Hill reached the stripe just nine times, making six.
Faulkner scored 17 of his 24 points in the first half and made 10-of-14 free throws.
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
• Millersville turned an eight-point halftime lead into a 24-point lead over the first 9:43 of the second half. During that stretch, Millersville made 8-of-14 shots including a pair of 3-pointers from
Mekhi Hendricks.
• Millersville, however, went without a field goal for nearly five minutes, allowing Seton Hill to creep back into the game. The Griffins got to within nine at 62-53 with 3:50 to play, but Millersville did enough at the free throw line to keep Seton Hill in the rearview. Millersville made just two buckets from the field over the final 11:16.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
• Hendricks scored nine points, making all three of his 3-pointers. He was the only Marauder to make a three as the rest of the team combined to go 0-for-14.
•
Justin Nwosu scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting.
Caden Najdawi added nine points and eight rebounds in 21 minutes and did not return to the game after being clipped with an elbow early in the second half.

POSTGAME REACTION FROM COACH CASEY STITZEL
• On getting a road win: "I thought we could have played better. We got away from what we were doing well late. Caden going out took some of our spirits. We stopped playing defense. It's good to get back with a win. Sometimes when you are in a funk, it takes an ugly game to get back. We made our foul shots down the stretch which was a good sign."
• On the early second half run: "We got stops, rebounds and got into transition. We got Caden involved early. Mekhi hit some big threes for us, and we'd been struggling shooting, so that opened things up for us. We moved it well, limited the turnovers. We had under 10 for the first time in a while. That's the recipe. We just have to continue to make shots."
NOTES
• Millersville has won three consecutive meetings against Seton Hill, improving to 4-3 all-time.
• Faulkner has scored double-digit points in all nine games and has led the team in scoring in eight of those. He has topped 20 points four times this season and 11 times in his career.
