PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Millersville University senior Day Waters has added another achievement to his sterling senior season, earning D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team recognition.
The D2CCA teams are nominated and voted on by the region's athletic communications directors. Waters is just the fifth different Marauder since 2002 to earn the all-region honor, but he is the third in as many seasons, following in the steps of Matt Dade (2024) and Drew Stover (2025). He is the first Millersville guard named All-Atlantic Region since Charlie Parker's back-to-back honors in 2007 and 2008.
Waters was previously named the PSAC East Athlete of the Year and All-PSAC East First Team after leading the Marauders to a 20-9 record and a share of the PSAC East title for the third time in five seasons. Waters ranked second in the PSAC in scoring average with 19.7 points per game--the best scoring average by a Marauder since 1993. His 571 total points ranked 13th in Millersville history.
Waters wrapped up his collegiate career ranked 17th all-time in scoring with 1,434 points. He also cracked the career top 10 in free throw percentage and 3-pointers made.
IUP's Dallis Dillard won the region's player of the year award. Fayetteville State's Larry Howell, California's Bryson Lucas, and Frostburg State's Trey Simmons joined Waters and Dillard on the first team. Waters was the lone PSAC East player to earn all-region honors.
