ABOUT THE RACE

Millersville cross country heads to Lock Haven for the NCAA Atlantic Regional race on Saturday morning. The top three teams will automatically advance to the NCAA Championship race.
The top two individuals not part of the qualifying teams will also advance, with eight additional teams being selected by the NCAA DII Cross Country Committee.

We would like to see the team race a bit more tactically at regionals. If we can place in the top 13, I think we will have had a good day. Anything above that placing would mean we did a very good job of executing our race plans."

SCOUTING THE MARAUDERS

Millersville is coming off an 11th-place finish at the PSAC Championship Race, the best Marauders' finish since 2011.
The Marauders will send seven runners to compete in the race. The regional participants and their times from last month’s PSAC Championship Race are listed below.

- Jillian Miller – 24:44.4
- Abbey Sullivan – 24:58.5
- Haley Wagner – 25:22.7
- Kaitlyn Leister – 25:12.7
- Hannah Sweda – 25:54.0
- Samantha Foster – 25:59.8
- Alternate – Emily Massage – 27:19.5

THE LAST TIME OUT

The Marauders took 11th in the PSAC Championship race. The full recap can be found here.

RACE HISTORY

In 2019, Edinboro came away as regional champions, followed by Davis & Elkins and Seton Hill who took second and third respectively.
Millersville finished in 18th out of the 22 teams competing in the last regional race.
The best Marauder finishes in the Atlantic Regional came in 2009 and 2010 when Priscilla Jennings and Elicia Anderson each finished in second place in their respective races.
