
Faulkner wins PSAC East Athlete of the Week award again

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - Dating back to November of 2019, Jaden Faulkner's last three full weeks of basketball has resulted in three PSAC East Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week awards. On Monday, the Millersville junior won the award for the second time in 2021.
Faulkner stuffed the stat sheet again last week, averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds and four assists per game with double-doubles in both of Millersville's wins. The Marauders went 2-0 during the week to improve to 4-0 for the first time since 2002-03.
Faulkner connected on 17-of-35 shots and made four threes. He grabbed 12 rebounds in both games. Against West Virginia State, he totaled 21 points and six assists, and against USciences, he finished with 22 points and two assists. Faulkner also played all but 79 of the team's 80 minutes.
Faulkner currently ranks eighth in the PSAC in scoring average and rebounding and ranks 10th in assists.
The Marauders are on a break until after Thanksgiving when they host Virginia Union at Pucillo Gymnasium on Monday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
