Lugiano leads Marauders to seventh place finish

GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Marauders recorded their best score of the fall, shooting a +38 as a team over their two rounds in the Hal Hansen Invitational, taking seventh place in the 10-team field.

The Marauders wrap their fall slate later this month in the PSAC Championship which will be held from Oct. 15-17 at the Hershey Country Club.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Millersville opened the tournament with their lowest score since the start of September, carding a 305 in the first round.
- Bobby Lugiano led Ville with a 73 in the first round, his lowest score of the fall.
- Austin Lauver led the Marauders in the second round, posting a 75.
- Lugiano had the best finish for Ville, as he recorded a 152 in the invitational, good for a tie for 22nd.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Ville finished 25 strokes behind tournament winner Mercyhurst University, who won the invitational with a +13.
