Marauders wrap PSAC Championship Tournament

HERSHEY, Pa. - The Millersville men's golf team finished in eighth place out of the 10 teams competing at the 2021 PSAC Championship. The Marauders carded a 933 over the three-round tournament.
Millersville closed the conference tournament 58 shots behind PSAC Champion IUP, who successfully defended their title reign with a team score of 875.
Bobby Lugiano led Ville in all three rounds. The sophomore tied teammate Austin Lawver with a team best 77 in the final round. Lugiano would be the only Marauder to finish in the top 20, as he tied for 13th in the tournament with a three-round total of 225.
Carl Ernst had the second lowest score for Ville, finishing in 34th with a 235. Ernst carded an 82 in the final round as his score increased by three strokes from day two.
Christopher Knox finished in 38th as he carded an 80 on the final day of the tournament, improving two strokes from Saturday's round.
Ty Morral's had the largest improvement for Ville as he went from an 87 in the second round to an 80 in the Sunday's final round.
Isaiah Swan of IUP took the individual title with a score of 213 as he was the only athlete to finish with an even par over the three day event.
