HEAD COACH SCOTT VANDEGRIFT QUOTES
• "Finishing fourth was really important. We were able to pass a number of key teams today. Mercyhurst may be the host of the NCAA Regional and if they are it will be played at Lake View, so this was a good preview for us. Many of the teams we need to beat to get into the regional were here. A fourth-place finish is a good start for us. We play well on this golf course. We know what we have to do moving forward."
• "Matt Spak played well again. The tenacity the team played with today was great. We are making some technical mistakes, but we're not making the mental errors. They're working so hard on the golf course trying to keep from making mental mistakes. That's a great sign and shows a lot of maturity on our team. Technical skills we can take care of. We know what we need to work on. We have a little more than two weeks before the PSAC Championships and we feel good about how we're playing and what our performance will look like at the PSAC Championships. Our conference is really tough to win, but the team is very upbeat."
