Men’s golf claims first team title at Elizabethtown Invitational

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Millersville men's golf team carded a 302 to win the tournament title, finishing first out of 14 teams at the Elizabethtown Invitational on the East Course at Hershey Country Club.
All six Marauders finished in the top 25 of the 73-player field. The win is the first for the team which came close earning both a second and third-place finish so far this season.
Tanner Leonard from Hood College won the individual title shooting a 71 even in the one round.
TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS
• Ronnie Yanoski led the team by tying for fifth place with a 74.
• Matt Spak, Brady Erb and Christopher Knox all tied for eighth, carding 76 each.
• Austin Lauver shot a 77 to tie for 12th.
• John Devic landed in the top 20 by posting a 79 to tie for 18th.
NOTES
• Yanoski now holds six career top-10 finishes.
• Spak added to his top-10 finish this season for nine career top-10 finishes.
• Erb earned his second career top-10 finish
• Knox recorded his first career top-10 finish.
