Box Score Shepherdstown, W.Va. - The Millersville University men's tennis team dominated its opponent for the second-straight match, defeating UVA-Wise 7-0 on Sunday morning at a neutral site at Shepherd University. The Marauders were originally scheduled to face Shepherd at 3 p.m., but the match was rained out.
Millersville improves to 7-13, while the Cavaliers fall to 0-16.
MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
• UVA-Wise did not win a single set in the match and totaled just four points over the entire match.
Carlos Martinez-Lucas and
Frank Yanni won at flight one doubles, 6-1, and
Rodrigo Lorencin and
Jose Alcazar won by the same score at flight three.
Ben Fellman and
Pearson Clary swept their flight two opponents, 6-0.
• Martinez-Lucas (flight one), Yanni (flight two), Lorencin (flight four), Alcazar (flight five) and Clary (flight six) all swept their singles matches, 6-0, 6-0, while Fellman handily won his flight three match, 6-1, 6-1.
NOTES
• This marks the first time the Marauders have swept back-to-back opponents since the 2008-09 season.
• This was the first ever meeting between these two teams.

• Millersville will conclude its regular season when it hosts West Chester on Wednesday, April 17 at 2 p.m. on the McComsey Tennis Courts. The Marauders have already clinched a playoff berth, but can clinch the No. 3 seed with a victory.
