ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville hosts its third-straight doubleheader at Seaber Softball Stadium on Saturday against Mansfield. Earlier in the week, Millersville won two five-inning games against Bowie State but is coming off of two 6-4 losses to Pitt-Johnstown.
• Millersville ranks fifth in the PSAC in hits (151), runs (100) and doubles (32). Head coach
Jen Probst has emphasized the home run swing and it is paying off as the squad leads the conference with 18 home runs–seven more than any other team. Three Marauder regulars are hitting over .300, led by
Faith Willenbrock's .415 average. Six Marauders own an OBP of .332 or higher.
• The Marauders are 10-1 when leading after the fourth. It is important for the Marauders to score first as they are 9-1 when they put up the first run of the day. When the Marauders are 5-1 when they hit two or more homers.
• As the leadoff hitter in an inning, Willenbrock has hit .545 while also hitting .500 with runners in scoring positions. Willenbrock has started all 23 games this season in the catcher position or in the outfield. Willenbrock boasts a slugging percentage of .846 and an on base percentage of .473. She has hit six home runs, placing her third in the PSAC. Over spring break, Willenbrock broke the program's career home runs record 17 career bombs.
• Willenbrock enters the weekend ranked fifth in the PSAC in slugging percentage while her teammate
Brianna Battavio is eighth in runs scored with 18.

Devan Masciulli has generated a .360 batting average, holds a team-high, four-game hitting streak and has reached base in the last five games.
• While the Marauders' offensive numbers rank among the PSAC leaders, the pitching staff's 4.44 ERA ranks 14th. Opponents are hitting .305 against the staff.
Catherine Johnson has pulled double duty as she holds a .313 batting average, ranking third on the team. In the circle, Johnson has thrown 48 innings including four complete games and has posted a 6.89 ERA in 11 appearances. In her last two starts, Johnson has thrown more than four innings each, allowing 10 hits and five runs while totaling a career-high 11 strikeouts against Bowie State.

Emma Bevard has struck out 28 batters and recorded three or more innings in her past three consecutive starts.

• Millersville and Mansfield have not gone head-to-head since 2017 when the Mountaineers won 9-1. In Probst's four years at the helm of the program, the team's have only played one time. The last time the teams played at Millersville was in 2015 with Mansfield winning both games.
SCOUTING MANSFIELD
• After going 11-16 last year and finishing fifth in the Central Division, Mansfield is off to a 6-4 start. The squad won five of their first six games of the season down in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic. The Mountaineers finished the tournament with an 8-0 win over Chestnut Hill and returned back to area to play against Goldey-Beacom but suffered two losses.
• Alli McGovern is off to a strong start in 2019, hitting .531 in 32 at bats. She is second on the team with hits (17) and runs (10). Joelie Snyder has totaled a .500 batting average and a .806 slugging percentage. Synder leads the team in OPS (1.367), hits (18), runs (11), triples (3) and tied for most RBIs with nine.
• Mansfield's 2.48 ERA ranks second in the PSAC. Their 70 hits and 40 runs allowed are the lowest in the conference. Mansfield has also not allowed any home runs. The staff is led by Alexis Easling and Arianna Young, both of whom boast an ERA of 2.59 or lower. Easling has earned a 4-1 record while Young is 1-1.
