Sara Suazo of California (Pa.) earned the individual medalist with a 12-over 154 which featured rounds of 80 and 76.
INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
• Hannah Yanoski had a strong tournament, finishing just inside the top-25 with a 178. Yanoski finished the weekend in a tie for 22nd. Yanoski had trouble in the opening round, shooting a 92 but then bounced back and posted an 86 in the final round. Yanoski recorded her lone birdie in the second round on the par-3 16th.
• Alexandra Craig ended the tournament in the same position as her teammate Yanoski in a tie for 22nd. Craig carded a first round of 86 which put her in a tie for 13th heading into the final round. On Saturday, Craig brought in a 92, totaling a 178.
• Joelie Bennett and Cassandra Vogel ended up in a tie for 37th, recording two-day totals of 190. Bennett opened her spring with a 100 on day one and then improved by 10 strokes on Saturday en route to shooting a 90. Bennett's 90 jumped her up eight spots in the leaderboard on the final day. Vogel shot a 97 and 94 in her first appearance at the course.
• In her second event of the 2018-19 season, Hailea Yocum rounded out the scoring with a 102 and 112. Yocum finished in a tie for 47th.

HEAD COACH SCOTT VANDEGRIFT QUOTES
• "I thought we would have played a little better than expected. I knew we were going to struggle and we did poorly around the greens and all the small shots inside 100 yards. No fault to them, they practiced really hard and we improved today but I am real happy because they know what they need to work on and are upbeat about it."
• "Allie Craig was pressing to stay in her 13th place after day one and improve. She backed up a little. I think she will improve off of that experience. Hannah was a little out of position on the first day but played much better in the second round. She is just going to get better every time she goes out. Hannah plays a game that most other women cannot play and has tremendous power. Both of them I think are going to do well."
• "This is Penny's second competition this year. I am very proud of what she did and I think Hailea will continue to improve as spring goes on. It is a little different as you are away for seven days, playing and practicing. I think both Hailea and Penny ran out of gas the last days. Joelie showed a lot of improvement today. I think you will see dramatic improvement as we go through the spring. We just have not had the reps outside that we usually do."
NOTES
• Craig's first round 86 was her lowest career round so far.
• The most difficult hole in the tournament was the par-5 fifth which averaged 1.98 over par in the first round and 1.50 in the second.
UP NEXT
• The Marauders have until April 2 for their next go-around on the course which is the Alvernia Spring Invitational.
