MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - The PSAC women's soccer tournament begins Tuesday night for two familiar foes as No. 15 Millersville hosts No. 23 East Stroudsburg at Pucillo Field. It is the third meeting between the two teams in 2019, with Millersville claiming victory in both matches; 1-0 on Oct. 9 at East Stroudsburg and 2-1 at Pucillo Field in double overtime on Nov. 6. There is more recent history between the two teams: during the 2018 season the Warriors defeated Millersville three times, including eliminating the Marauders from the PSAC tournament and NCAA tournament.
Millersville has been a thorn in the side of East Stroudsburg in 2019. The Warriors have won nine of their last eleven PSAC contests, with the only two losses coming to the Ville. Prior to this season East Stroudsburg had beaten Millersville nine straight times in a streak that dated back to 2012. The Warriors have a storied history in the PSAC tournament, winning four championships in a row from 2014-2017. That streak was broken in 2018 by the Bloomsburg Huskies.
Millersville is the second seed in the PSAC East while East Stroudsburg is the third seed. The winner of Tuesday's game advances to the semifinals to face the winner of Slippery Rock vs. IUP. The bottom half of the bracket features two additional quarterfinals: Mercyhurst at Edinboro and Bloomsburg hosting West Chester.
Admission charges for all rounds of the tournament are $10 for adults and $5 for student age. There is no admission charge for students who attend a PSAC institution.

- Millersville has been ranked No. 4 in the Atlantic Region in the latest NCAA regional rankings of the 2019 season. East Stroudsburg is ranked No. 4.
- The Marauders are 7-27-1 all-time versus the East Stroudsburg Warriors.
