'Ville added to the margin when Strohecker scored again in the second half off a Megan Taltavull assist, and Livia Messenger followed with another goal later in the half. Strohecker's 18th goal tied the season high in Millersville history, while Melanie Love scored her first collegiate goal. The Marauders finished with a 15-11 advantage in shots and put 10 attempts on goal to Shepherd's five. Taltavull made five saves in the shutout, while Strohecker finished with two goals on four shots to lead the Marauders' attack.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Strohecker put the Marauders in front in the first half, scoring from Edwards' assist. Melanie Love added another 'Ville goal on a penalty kick, and Taltavull made an early save as the Marauders reached halftime ahead 2-0.

The Marauders added two second-half goals, with Strohecker scoring off Taltavull's assist to make it 3-0 and Messenger scoring for a 4-0 lead. Earlier in the half, Taltavull made four saves as 'Ville kept Shepherd off the board through a stretch of pressure. The Marauders closed out the match with a 4-0 win.

"They came out and took their chances well." said head coach Matt Procopio. "It's how you mentality approach the game and that there are no moments off, every moment could be the moment. A heightened focus is required. You have to go out and show your quality everyday. Very happy with today but again mentally, we must move onto the next game quickly."
