COACH SHELLY BEHRENS QUOTES
• "We're both different now from when we last faced each other. I know we're different and we keep evolving and same for them. Again, PSAC play prepares you for the riggers weekly. We see a very talented Shippensburg team, a very determined team. At the end of the day I think it is going to be another great game at home. Our schedule is very reflective of trying to play some of the best competition in Division II."
• "IUP was fantastic. It was a great match. We continue to play well and learn and give people some minutes. I think that's a positive. This is normal for us. The kids are looking forward to a match versus practice. It's an opportunity for us to have a solid competition before heading into fall break. I think it's going to be a really fun game to coach, as it always is with Ship. Hopefully, it will be a fun game for those that are able to come."
• "Teams grow from September to October. We're looking at the three-time defending national champions in field hockey, so of course we're going to get a great game. Regardless of if we have seen them once, twice, three or four times you're always going to get a great game when it's Shippensburg vs. Millersville. I'm looking forward to putting us in a position to compete and do the things that we can continue to get better at from the small game to the big game and from our attack to our defense. I think we're prepared and ready to go. We're looking forward to it."
