LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --- Millersville field hockey produced two players who earned conference recognition by making All-PSAC teams following the 2025 season.
Alexis Kern and
Emma Ruley, two pivotal pieces to the Marauders' early success this season, were both named to respective teams, per the PSAC on Monday morning.
Kern made the second team in her first year with the Marauders, and Ruley found herself back on the third team after being named there at the end of last season.
Kern came in and played a big role in the Marauders' offensive success this season. With a team-leading 10 goals, Kern was a pillar of the offense and helped the team nearly double its goal total from the season prior. Kern brought a veteran presence to the team after transferring from Lock Haven. Her 10 goals tied her for tenth in the PSAC in goals scored this season, and in tandem with her three assists, she ranked twelfth in the PSAC in points. Coach Shelly Behrens described Kern as a "difference maker," which she certainly was for this 2025 Marauders team.
Emma Ruley found herself on the third team for the second year in a row after another impressive performance in her senior season. Ruley built off a strong five-goal season last year and boosted her point total while adding several assists this year as well. Ruley recorded seven goals and a team-leading four assists, tied with Megan Alvarez. She ended her senior campaign with 18 points and a high shot-on-goal percentage of 92.3%.
