Women’s swimming recognized for classroom success

Colorado Springs, Colo. – The Millersville University women's swimming team was selected as one of a record 713 teams to earn CSCAA (College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America) Scholar All-American honors for the fall 2018 semester.
The teams were chosen by the CSCAA's Scholar All-American committee based on their fall grade point averages. The group represented 16,502 student-athletes. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester and maintain a roster of 12 or more student-athletes.
The Marauders finished the fall with a GPA of 3.17. Nine PSAC schools were in the list of honorees including Millersville.
The Marauders return to Pucillo Natatorium for the final time this year on Saturday, Jan. 26 when they face Kuztown and LIU Post. Before the meet, Millersville will honor three seniors: Gabriella Licata, Amira Washington and Amanda Wetzler.
