HEAD COACH SCOTT VANDEGRIFT QUOTES
• "We played mediocre both days. We had one player play very well, Matt Spak who shot 76, 76 but he was playing as an individual. So that did not help our team score at all."
• "We don't play until the one-day event at Alvernia. So unfortunately we have probably two weeks to really try to figure out what we are doing wrong. We have a lot of work to do."
• "Playing as an individual is tough and so that is what I think the scores [Matt Spak] put up were more impressive. He played hard and played the same golf course that the others were playing and same conditions. Very windy today and quick breeze."
• "[Brady Erb], especially day one, he played far better than what the score showed. But today, he struggled throughout the day."
NOTES
• Rush was the only Marauders to improve from his day one score.
• Keim's first round included a stretch of 2-over through 11 holes that began on the par-4 eighth hole.
• Two Marauders posted the same scores that they shot on both days. Spak recorded a 76 and Betham had an 83.
• Humber College won the tournament with a team score of 599, two strokes ahead of second place IUP (Pa.) and seven away from host Mercyhurst. Laker's Adrian Larsen claimed the medalist with an outstanding opening round of 5-under 67 and followed with a 73.
