
Men’s tennis loses 8-1 to Daemen

Millersville, Pa. – The Millersville University men's tennis team lost 8-1 to Daemen College Saturday afternoon at McComsey Courts.
No. 1 singles Peter Landis had the lone win for the Marauders by defeating Daemen's D. Gonzalez Villegas. Landis and Gonzalez Villegas battled back and forth in the first set to go 6-6. The set advanced to a tiebreaker where Landis won seven to claim the first set. Landis concluded the match by winning 6-1 in the second set. Landis won his ninth match of the season.
All of the doubles was won by Daemen players.
The Marauders are back in action Monday, April 16 at Jefferson. The match begins at 3 p.m.
