GAME OVERVIEW
• The Millersville Marauders and Edinboro Fighting Scots match up in the PSAC Championship after very different circumstances in their respective PSAC Semifinal games. Millersville is coming off an 89-86 triple overtime victory over No. 8 Indiana (Pa.). The Marauders came back after trailing early to the Crimson Hawks to win the longest game in PSAC Playoff history. Edinboro is coming off a statement 106-78 blowout of PSAC East one-seeded West Chester. Edinboro took a 26-point lead in halftime after shooting 64 percent from the field in the opening half. The Fighting Scots cruised to a victory in the second half thanks to their insurmountable lead.
• A match up between Head Coaches Mary Fleig and Stan Swank is a match up between titans of the coaching profession. Coach Fleig and Coach Swank are the winningest coaches in PSAC history with a combined 1,082 wins at their current universities. Coach Fleig recently joined Coach Swank in the exclusive PSAC 500 win club and sits at 503 career wins at Millersville. Coach Fleig has one PSAC title coaching the Marauders. Coach Swank sits at 579 wins with four PSAC titles at the helm of the Fighting Scots.
• Millersville is 0-2 all-time in the playoffs against Edinboro. The Fighting Scots earned a 70-58 victory over the Marauders in the 2011 PSAC Semifinal game.
• Millersville and Edinboro played in the opening weeks of the 2017-18 season. The Marauders took an early lead, but the Fighting Scots rallied from poor shooting by out-rebounding the Marauders and forcing 22 Millersville turnovers. Edinboro won 83-63 through sheer volume as they took 22 more shots than Millersville.
• Senior Alayah Hall is one game away from achieving her final goal for her final season in the black and gold. Hall has reached 1,000 career points, earned PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year, and All-PSAC East First Team honors this season. She is a scoring machine this year, and she will not stop until she hoists silverware.
• Freshman Lauren Lister is on fire with 12 straight games in double figures. She is averaging 19.1 points per game in the last 12 games, and she is 12 points away from setting the new Millersville freshman scoring record.
• Millersville is averaging seven three pointers per game in its last two playoff games. Sophomore Courtney Dimoff is averaging four three pointers in those two games, and she leads the team in long-range shooting this season. Hall ranks second and junior Jade Farquhar ranks third. The Marauders will need to pair their scoring in the paint with efficient long range shooting to get one last upset.

SCOUTING THE FIGHTING SCOTS
•Like No. 8 IUP, No. 11 Edinboro ranks in the top-3 in the PSAC in both offense and defense. The Fighting Scots average 79.6 points per game while allowing only 59.3 points per game. Their 20.3 point scoring margin ranks second behind only IUP. Edinboro's scoring is aided by its field goal shooting efficiency. Edinboro ranks third in the conference shooting 43 percent from the field per game. The team can convert from long range too sporting the conference's second-best three-point field goal percentage of 36 percent.
•Edinboro's game is all about preventing opportunities for its opponents. The Fighting Scots are ferocious on the glass with 44.6 rebounds per game which ranks first in the conference. Edinboro also ranks first in the PSAC in blocks. The Fighting Scots shut down opposing shooters with 5.14 blocks per game. They force the conference's fourth-best 19.2 turnovers per game. They are also good at capitalizing on turnovers and average 20.4 points of turnovers per game.
• While the Fighting Scots' roster features four players averaging double-digit scoring, arguably Edinboro's most impressive player is Ciara Rosten. The senior is averaging a double-double this season with 16.2 points and 11.8 rebounds per game. She is an offensive and defensive powerhouse. The newly minted PSAC West Athlete of the Year, PSAC West Defensive Player of the Year, and All-PSAC West First Teamer leads the PSAC and ranks third in Division II with 108 blocked shots this season. Her one glaring flaw is her 59 percent shooting from the free throw line this season.
• Jontay Walton leads the Fighting Scots with 16.4 points per game. She is an efficient shooter averaging 42 percent from both the floor and the three-point line. Michaela Barnes ranks third on the team with 13.9 points per game. Her efficient shooting is a trademark as well as she shoots 47 percent from the floor and 48 percent from the three-point line. Michelle Jahn rounds out the double-digit scorers for Edinboro with 12.6 points per game. Walton joined Rosten on the All-PSAC West First team while Barnes and Jahn both earned All-PSAC West honors.
