
Millersville loses 7-2 to Dallas Baptist

Orlando, Fla. – The Millersville University men's tennis team claimed a singles and a doubles victory in the 7-2 loss against Dallas Baptist Wednesday afternoon.
Millersville's No. 3 singles player Ben Fellman defeated Nathan Torres, 6-4, 0-6, 10-6. Fellman won the first set but Torres swept all six games in the second. Fellman captured the 10-6 win in the tiebreaker for his sixth victory of the season.
At No. 2 doubles, the junior duo of Peter Landis and Christian Akerley had a hard fought match-up against Torres and Riley Smith, winning 9-8 (6). The duos tied 8-8 to push the match to a tiebreaker situation. The Marauders duo won the tiebreaker. Landis and Akerley earned their first doubles win as a team.
The Marauders wrap up their Orlando trip on Thursday, March 15 against Augustana (SD). That match begins at 7 p.m.
