Greene breaks shot put record again; seven season bests set at Fastrack National Invitational

Staten Island, N.Y. - Competing against a loaded field with athletes from Division I, Division II and Division III, Millersville women's track and field posted seven season-best performances, headlined by Sunflower Greene breaking her own school and PSAC shot put record for the fourth consecutive time out.
Greene's 51-9 3/4 landed her first place in a field of 49 competitors, out-distancing Cornell's Michaela Smith by nearly two feet. Greene matched her previous record by 4 1/4 inches. Greene hit 61-2 in the weight throw, taking second to Rachel Wilson of Penn.
Courtney Ingold set a new season-best in two events. Ingold placed third in the 200-meter dash, running a time of 25.89, which matched her season best time. She matched her personal record of 7.88 in the 60-meter dash. She landed 25th in a field of 67 runners, and only two Division II runners posted better times.
Also in the 200, Emonie Reviere ran a 26.12, placing eighth in the 41-athlete field. Clara Forney placed 16th with a time of 26.33.
In the 400-meter dash, Lenaiya Flowers ran a 59.35, placing 23rd out of 66 runners and sixth among PSAC competitors. Forney also qualified for the PSAC Championships with a time of 1:00.11.
Madie Tropp qualified for the PSAC Championships in the 60-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 9.59. Arianna Camel also qualified for PSAC's in the high jump, clearing a season-best height of 5-1.
Erin Winters matched her season-best of 10-11 1/2 in the pole vault and placed 10th in the college division.
