GAME OVERVIEW

• Millersville heads to East Stroudsburg to face the Warriors for the second time in Koehler Fieldhouse in five days. The Marauders swept the Warriors during the regular season, and they must earn a third win over the Warriors to make their first PSAC Semifinal since the 2012-13 season.
• The Marauders punched their ticket to the PSAC Quarterfinals after defeating the Mansfield Mountaineers 51-38 in Pucillo Gymnasium. Mansfield's leading scorer Brielle Kelly missed the game because of injury while Millersville's leading scorer senior Alayah Hall played limited minutes as she recovered from an illness. With both teams struggling to shoot from the floor, Millersville had to out-grit Mansfield. The Marauders won in the paint as they out-rebounded the Mountaineers 48-40 and outscored the Mountaineers 24-8 in the paint. Sophomore Savanna Krusinsky took over the glass, in only her second start of the season, and snagged 12 rebounds which was four more than any other player on the court.
• The Marauders have lost two straight playoff games against the Warriors dating back to the 2013-14 season. Their most recent playoff match up against the Warriors was an 82-53 loss in Koehler Fieldhouse on March 1, 2017. East Stroudsburg's defense held Millersville to only 13 points in the first half as the team missed 19 field goals. With a commanding 19-point lead heading into the second half, East Stroudsburg kept the game out of reach by limiting Millersville's possessions and forcing 31 total Millersville turnovers throughout the game.
• Millersville's performances this season against East Stroudsburg were the opposite of last year's playoff performance. The Marauders averaged 74.5 points per game on 48 percent shooting against the Warriors. The season series was a battle of contrasting styles. Millersville averaged 44 points in the paint while East Stroudsburg shot 50 three pointers in two games. Millersville won with high percentage shots while East Stroudsburg died by the three.
• Freshman Lauren Lister was the catalyst for the Millersville offense in both games against East Stroudsburg. The guard averaged 22.5 points per game on 56 percent shooting and led all scorers in both games. She was aggressive all over the court as she also averaged six rebounds and three steals per game.
• Redshirt junior Janelle Robinson can change the game with her defense and tenacity. Robinson is averaging almost eight rebounds per game in her last seven games. Five days ago at East Stroudsburg, Robinson pressed the Warriors for 37 minutes on the court with six rebounds. two blocks and one steal while forcing players into bad passes and additional turnovers.

SCOUTING THE WARRIORS
• The Warriors are a great team that are hosting a home playoff game for the third straight year. The Warriors thrive in Koehler Fieldhouse as they sport a 9-4 record at home. Three of East Stroudsburg's losses at home have been single-digit losses. One to California, who ranked fourth in the country at the time, one to PSAC East first-seeded West Chester, and its most recent loss to Millersville that was decided by two points.
• East Stroudsburg love to shoot the three. The Warriors rank fifth in the conference with 179 made three pointers. While Millersville held East Stroudsburg to 10-50 shooting from the three-point line in the last two meetings, the Marauders still rank towards the bottom of the conference in three-point defense. The Marauders will need to continue replicating their defensive efforts from their last two meetings against the Warriors to earn a third straight win against them.
• East Stroudsburg's offense runs through senior Imani Brown. The guard ranks fourth in the PSAC with 18.2 points per game. Her scoring prowess is well documented as she sits 10th in program history with 1,195 career points. Furthermore, she likes to shoot from beyond the arch, and she ranks seventh in the PSAC in three pointers made per game.
