Millersville's sprinters also made their mark Sunday. Courtney Ingold broke the 200-meter school record and posted All-PSAC finishes in both the 200 and the 60-meter dash. Clara Forney set a school record in a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash, and Arianna Camel broke her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles for the second day in a row, placing fifth.
As a team, Millersville took seventh place in a field of 16 teams.
A heave of 48-11 1/2 on her first throw put Greene in first place, but Greene committed fouls on her next four throws. The fifth attempt was the charm, and that's when she beat her previous best and established a new all-time best at the championship meet. She won the event by nearly six feet.
That performance came 24 hours after winning the weight throw. Greene is the first Marauder to win the shot put at the PSAC Indoor Championships, and is one of only two to win the weight throw. No other PSAC athlete has ever pulled off the double win. Since the 2017 outdoor season, Greene has won conference titles in four throwing events. Greene ranks eighth in Division II in the weight throw and third in the shot put and will be competing at the NCAA Championships in both events.
Ingold made her final PSAC Indoor Championships special. Her day started in the 60 where she matched her career-best time of 7.73 to finish third. In the 200, Ingold posted a time of 25.32, breaking a school record that had stood since 2011. Her third-place finish in the race made her the first Marauder sprinter since Christina Carpenter in 2003-04 to post a pair of top-three finishes at the same indoor championships.
Forney took eighth in the 200 with a time of 25.91, but Forney scored her own All-PSAC finish in the 400. Forney's 57.82 was a school record and gave her the first top-three finish of her career. Freshman Lenaiya Flowers also took sixth in the event with a time of 58.30.
Camel's busy weekend concluded with a fifth-place finish and school record time of 8.86 in the 60-meter hurdles. Camel had set the record one day earlier in the prelims. Camel also placed 14th in the high jump after taking fifth in the pentathlon on Saturday.
