GAME OVERVIEW
• Millersville heads to Cheyney after a disappointing 82-63 loss to PSAC East leading West Chester Wednesday night. The Golden Rams earned their 11th straight victory and snapped the Marauders' own winning streak after four Golden Rams scored in double figures with two players scoring over 20 points each. West Chester's outside shooting was a catalyst as well as the Golden Rams sunk seven more three pointers than the Marauders. Millersville attempted the least amount of free throws in its last six games against West Chester while shooting under 50 percent from the charity stripe for the first time in five games.
• The Marauders look to bounce back and continue their playoff push against Cheyney, a team they beat 87-55 earlier in the season. The Marauders earned their largest scoring margin of the season by constantly pressuring the Wolves into turnovers. Senior Alayah Hall stole the ball six times while Millersville recorded 12 total steals, and the Wolves turned the ball over 21 times. The Marauders played opportunistically and scored 28 points off turnovers. Millersville was methodical with its shooting and took high percentage shots as the team scored 42 points in the paint. The team shot 47 percent from the field which marked its second-highest field goal percentage at that point in the season.
• TaKayla Ellis played as advertised as she lead the Wolves with 17 points against the Marauders. At the time, Ellis had just earned PSAC East Athlete of the Week and she showed off her scoring acumen with 41 percent shooting and finishing as the second leading scorer in the game behind Hall.
• Hall will look to replicate her previous performance against Cheyney as she lead all scorers with 19 points in the last contest. The guard's impact was all over the court despite playing only 26 minutes before getting subbed off for rest. She was accurate all night and shot 50 percent from the field and perfect from the charity stripe. She was a nightmare for Cheyney as she registered the aforementioned six steals, and she also snagged five rebounds including three offensive rebounds.
• Freshman Lauren Lister finished second on the Marauders with 14 points scored in the last game against the Wolves. The current reigning PSAC East Co-Athlete of the Week shot 5-6 from the field and perfect from the free throw line while only recording 20 minutes off the bench.
• After missing the two games leading up to the West Chester contest, the Marauders will be glad to have redshirt junior Janelle Robinson back. The guard scored 13 on 6-8 shooting against the Wolves while assisting four more buckets and stealing the ball three times.

SCOUTING THE WOLVES
•Cheyney is enjoying a surge in the PSAC East standings after collecting three PSAC wins away from home since its last match up with Millersville. The Wolves now sit one spot and one game behind sixth seeded Bloomsburg for the final playoff spot. The Wolves return to Cope Hall for the first time since they hosted Edinboro on Dec 9. Cheyney has only played four home games but will finish the season with six of seven games played at home. The Wolves will look to start a playoff push against the Marauders who have struggled with a 2-6 record away from Pucillo Gymnasium.
• Cheyney's offense is scoring at an improved clip since its first match up with the Marauders, and the team's 61.4 points per game has moved closer to the median in the conference. However, Cheyney's defense is still leaky as they rank second to last with 75.7 points allowed per game. The Wolves play their best basketball in the third and fourth quarter as they score their most points in the second half, however, they average a negative nine point scoring margin at half time this season which keeps most games out of reach.
•  Senior guard TaKayla Ellis continues to lead the team in scoring. The recipient of the PSAC East Athlete of the Week back in December averages 12.7 points per game. Ellis is a volume shooter who leads the team in field goals and three point field goals attempted. She pairs her scoring with 2.6 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, and 1.7 steals per game. Junior forward-center hybrid Yasmine Dorrielan is the other Cheyney player averaging double digit scoring. Dorrielan averages 10 points per game on 49 percent shooting which leads the team's starting line up. At 6-1, Dorrielan uses her length to her advantage in the paint, and she nearly averages a double double per game with 9.4 rebounds per game.
