ABOUT THE MARAUDERS
• Millersville is coming off a 75-65 loss at home to Goldey-Beacom on Nov. 20.
• With the loss the Marauders fell to 1-3 on the season, the third time in four years Millersville has begun the season having lost three of its first four games. The Marauders won their fifth game in the two prior instances.
• Millersville scored a season-high 33 points off the bench against the Lightning, thanks in large part to
Samantha Brusha who contributed 23 of those points by shooting 7-of-13 from the floor, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arch, and making all six of her free throw attempts. She also added six rebounds to her strong outing. The reigning PSAC East Freshman of the Week is the team leader in 3-point percentage and free throw percentage, as she is shooting 50 percent from beyond the arch, good for second in the PSAC, and 91.7 percent from the charity strip, tied for third in the conference.Â

Kendra Bamberger recorded a double-double for the second-consecutive game, the seventh of her career, with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Bamberger is first on Millersville and tied for fourth in the PSAC with 9.0 rebounds per game.Â

Lauren Lister tallied 11 points and has scored in double-digits all three games she has played this season. Lister is the team's leading scorer and is tied for fourth in the conference with 19.0 points per game. She also leads the team and is second in the PSAC in field goal percentage, 57.9 percent, is tied for second in the PSAC in steals per game, 3.0, and is tied for sixth in assists per game, 4.7.
• The Marauders will play five-straight PSAC matches and have only two more nonconference games left on their schedule following their game against the University of the District of Columbia.Â
LAST TIME IN ACTION: Goldey-Beacom 75, Millersville 65
• The two teams played a close first quarter with the Marauders grabbing the lead late in the period off a 3-pointer from
Samantha Brusha to go up 18-16. After the Lightning tied the game at the beginning of the second quarter Millersville responded with a 14-4 run including seven-straight points from Brusha.Â
• Goldey-Beacom then went on a 14-0 stretch where it made six of its' eight shots while the Marauders missed all five of their's to grab a 36-32 lead. The Lightning eventually built up a 41-34 lead but Millersville made all four of its free throw attempts in the final 15 seconds of the period to go into halftime down only 41-38.
• A strong start by Goldey-Beacom to begin the second half built up a 13-point lead for the Lightning. A 9-4 run late in the third quarter by Millersville, which sawÂ
Erika Reed sink two 3-pointers, brought it to within seven entering the final period.Â
• Like the third quarter, the Lightning began the fourth quarter on a hot streak and, despite turning the ball over three times during their 9-2 run, built up their largest lead of the night at 68-54. Goldey-Beacom was ahead by double-digits for the remainder of the game.Â
• The Lightning did a majority of their scoring, 48 points, in the paint.
• Goldey-Beacom's bench, which had scored only 16 points all season prior to the game, equaled that total in the match.
• Both teams turned the ball over 19 times.
• The Lightning had a better shot percentage (45.2) than Millersville (33.9), but shot just 42.9 percent from the free throw line.
• This was Goldey-Beacom's first win over the Marauders, with Millersville now leading the all-time series 6-1.

The Last Meeting: Millersville 82, UDC 79 (Dec. 19, 2017)
• The Marauders led throughout the first half, holding a lead as large as 13 points in the second quarter, but the Firebirds came back to briefly take the lead halfway through the third quarter. The two teams exchanged the lead eight times in the final period, but Millersville made six of its seven free throw attempts in the final period, while UDC made just four of eight, and that was the difference as the Marauders held on for the win.

Courtney Dimoff set career highs with 18 points and eight shots made from the floor, notching a 50 shot percentage (8-of-16).

Lauren Lister also had a strong showing, scoring 16 points and grabbing seven rebounds off the bench while going 8-for-9 from the free throw line.
SCOUTING THE FIREBIRDS
• The Firebirds went 4-24 last season, and are off to a 2-3 start this season including a 1-2 record on the road.
• UDC is coming off a 70-65 loss to Post on Nov. 20. The Firebirds trailed by 15 points in the final quarter and managed to bring the deficit down to four points, but their comeback ultimately fell short.Â
• Mia-Alexis Lloyd, who leads the team with 12.0 points per game, scored a team-high 17 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds. She also leads UDC and is tied for fourth in the East Coast Conference (ECC) with a 53.3 shot percentage.
• Two other Firebirds are averaging double-digit points: Danielle Harrington and Natasha Roy with 11.0 and 10.6 per game, respectively.Â
• Tyra Coombs is the team leader in rebounds, averaging 4.6 per game.Â
• UDC has a team shot percentage of 35.4, while it has allowed a 46 shot percentage to its opponents.Â
