• The Millersville University women's golf team is set to compete in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships. This is the first year that the championships is a three-day, three-round format.
• The Marauders are coming off four-straight top-four finishes in which they have totaled an 87.4 scoring average. The Marauders won the Ursinus Invitational in late September and then followed with a second-place finish at the Millersville Invitational. Most recently, the team finished third at the Alvernia Invitational and then fourth at the Revolutionary Golf Classic.
• In that Revolutionary Classic, senior Danielle Greene won the individual medalist honor, carding a 4-over 76 and an 8-over 80. That marked her sixth career victory. Greene is looking to keep the momentum going into PSACs while averaging a score of 82.7. Greene has recorded four consecutive top-five finishes.
• Sophomore Hannah Yanoski will compete in her second PSAC Championship. Yanoski placed seventh last season after shooting rounds of 81 and 77. This season, Yanoski is coming off breaking 80 in the final round of the Revolutionary Golf Classic where she tied for eighth. Yanoski owns an 84.4 scoring average.
• Veteran Joelie Bennett is seeing the East Course for the third time in her career, having tied for 30th with rounds of 90 and 87 in 2017. Bennett has played in all events this season and owns a scoring average of 88.6.
• Freshman Alexandra Craig has shown improvement since the first tournament of the year. Craig recorded her career low of 16-over 88 in the Gannon Invitational.
• Freshman Cassandra Vogel, recorded her best finish this season at the Ursinus Invitational, shooting a 98 that put her in a tie for 16th. This will be the first time that Vogel has seen the East Course in her collegiate career.
• At the 2017 conference championship, Millersville finished fourth with Greene placing third after carding a first-round 83 and a final-round 73.
• The starting lineup for the Marauders includes: Greene (1), Yanoski (2), Bennett (3), Craig (4), and Vogel (5).
• Kutztown is looking to repeat after winning its first conference title in 2017. The Golden Bears' Jillian Jones has been leading the squad, winning the PSAC's athlete of the week award after firing a season-low score of 78 to help her team finish second at the Kuztown Fall Invitational. Another player to watch this weekend is Sara Suazo of California (Pa.). She has two first place finishes this fall.. She fired an even-par 144 (71-73) while playing in a 15-team event hosted by Ohio Dominican. Suazo tied for the lowest score in 36 holes of competition with a one-under 71 in the opening round and finished play with 26 pars and five birdies over the weekend.
• Millersville begins its tournament starting on the 10th tee Friday at 10:45 a.m. Saturday and Sunday's tee times will be set best on the first and second round scores.
