HEAD COACH SCOTT VANDEGRIFT QUOTES
• "We continue to show improvement. The scores are good but they have to get even better. The player that has been really playing well is Matt Spak. He has played back-to-back tournaments very well. Another golfer who has shown a lot of improvement is Corey Betham."
• "We are happy we won and it was nice to be on the right side winning by one but there is no one here sitting with me tonight that does not realize that this will be in the middle of the pack at the conference championship."
• "In that final round, anytime you count a score over 75 in your team score, you are hurting yourself. We had to count a 78 in the final round. We need four scores under 75, every time, and need one guy to go low."
NOTES
• Betham set new low scores for 18 and 36 holes.
• Spak tied his lowest 18-hole score in his career in the final round (70). He also recorded a new career-best 36-hole score.
• Spak posted eight birdies in the two rounds.
• Devic recorded his best finish this season.
