GAME OVERVIEW

• The PSAC logo emblazoned on both team's uniform is where the familiarity begins and ends for Millersville and Gannon. The Marauders and the Golden Knights have only clashed ten times since the 1981-82 season with seven of those match ups occurring after Gannon joined the PSAC in the 2008-09 season. The last time the teams played in 2015, Alayah Hall and Kendra Bamberger combined for 13 minutes played and zero field goal attempts while Gannon's Lauren Tewes and Nicole LaCava combined for 11 minutes played and zero field goal attempts. Hall has been with Millersville long enough to make an appearance in Millersville's second-to-last match up with Gannon as a freshman in the 2014-15 season when she recorded one field goal attempt in one minute on the court. With a combined 25 total minutes and limited experience to draw upon by current players, it will be up to Head Coaches Mary Fleig and Jim Brunelli to get their teams ready for the match up. Currently, Coach Brunelli holds the upper hand as he sports a 2-0 record against Millersville in his five seasons with Gannon.
• The Marauders head to Gannon on the heels of a disappointing loss to fellow PSAC East rival Lock Haven. Leading up to the game with the Bald Eagles, the Marauders were undefeated when they shot at or above 50 percent from the field as well as undefeated when they scored at least 80 points. Against Lock Haven, Millersville checked both boxes, but they were upended by a team that could not miss from the three point line while also falling victim to a brilliant individual and record-setting performance from sophomore Rileigh Devine. Furthermore, Millersville was without its two leading scorers Hall and Bamberger after the pair fouled out down the stretch. With the game decided by only two points (LHU 86, MU 84), the Marauders had their chances late, but it was not their night.
• The aforementioned Hall leads the team in scoring (16.7 ppg) and is one of the leaders of the conference ranking ninth in points per game. Adding to her scoring abilities, Hall has been efficient handling the ball. She ranks tied for tenth in the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio. She also ranks tied for sixth in steals per game (2.4).
•  Bamberger matches her scoring skills with skills on the glass. While scoring 12.1 ppg, she also averages 7.8 rebounds per game which leads the team. Her rebounding average ranks tied for seventh in conference while her 124 total rebounds ranks ninth in the PSAC.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN KNIGHTS
• Gannon is a battle-tested PSAC West team sitting in the sixth spot in the division, and the Golden Knights are sporting an above .500 conference record in a division that features three teams already with double-digit conference victories. Gannon's signature win of the season so far was a 76-73 win over PSAC East leading West Chester. Gannon's shooting prowess powered it past West Chester despite the Golden Rams forcing Gannon into ten more turnovers and scoring 22 points off turnovers. Gannon is susceptible to turning the ball over as they rank in the bottom half of the conference in turnover margin. Millersville will look to take advantage of that match up as they rank in the top half of the conference with 8.9 steals per game.
• Gannon's shooters present a tough match up for Millersville's defense. The Golden Knights rank fourth in the conference in three point field goal percentage and three-pointers made while Millersville ranks second-to-last in the conference in three-point field goal defense. Millersville allows 7.8 three pointers made per game while Gannon averages 7.4 three-pointers made per game. Millersville's guards will look to tighten up their defense and close out on shooters quicker to prevent the Golden Knights from heating up from downtown.
• Senior Maggie Mitchell leads Gannon in scoring with 17.3 ppg on 44 percent shooting. Mitchell's efficiency extends to the three point line as she ranks tied for first in the PSAC with 46 made three-pointers and second in the conference in three-point field goal shooting percentage at 41 percent. Mitchell also ranks one spot ahead of Alayah Hall in conference in points per game. Mitchell is coming off one of her best performances of the season with a 28 point explosion including shooting 6-9 from the three-point line against Mercyhurst.
• Gannon's roster features two more scorers averaging double-figures. Sophomore Chelsea Rourke is a versatile scorer playing a hybrid guard/forward position and she is averaging 12.5 ppg while shooting 44 percent from the floor and 39 percent from the three point line. Her ability to stretch the floor has given opposing defenders headaches all season, and it's allowed her to score in double-figures in 15 of Gannon's 17 games. Junior Nicole LaCava is long forward capable of scoring at will in the paint. She is shooting 52 percent from the floor and is on a hot streak after scoring 17 or more points in two straight games.
