
Danielle Greene ties for second, team finishes second at the Millersville Invitational

Quarryville, Pennsylvania -- Danielle Greene tied for second as the Millersville women's golf team finished second at the Millersville Invitational Sunday.
For the second time in a week, Greene earned a second place finish when she shot an 80 at the Tanglewood Manor Golf Club. She finished two shots behind the first place finisher. Senior Danielle Freed earned her second top-10 finish in a week as she finished two shots behind Greene in fourth place. Freshman Joelie Bennett earned a top-25 finish as she finished 18th. Junior Alexa Strong joined Bennett in the top-25 as she finished tied for 22nd.
The Millersville women's golf team returns to the links April 9-10 at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational in West Chester, Pa.
