West Chester, Pennsylvania -- Junior Connor Sheehan and sophomore Matt Keim tied for 18th as the Millersville men's golf team finished seventh at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational Monday.

Keim posted a 76 during the first round, but he stumbled and shot a 79 in the second round. Sheehan overcame an 81 in the first round by shooting a 74 in the second round. Sheehan moved up fourteen spots by the end of the second day. Junior Mitchell Burns finished just outside the top-25 when he tied for 26th. Burns shot an 80 in the first round, but improved during the second round and shot a 78.

Redshirt senior Rodney Anders finished tied for 33rd, and he played consistently shooting an 81 in the first round and an 80 in the second round. Redshirt freshman Matt Spak finished 48th, as he shot an 84 in the first round and an 82 in the second round.

The Millersville men's golf team returns to the links for their final tournament of the season April 16 at the Cecil C. Spadafora Golf Invitational in Indiana, Pa.
