
Tropp and Stigleman compete in pentathlon at Frank Colden Invitational

Collegeville, Pennsylvania - Madie Tropp and Arielle Stigelman represented the Millersville University indoor track and field team in the Frank Colden Invitational pentathlon.
Tropp posted a personal-best 2,774 points and took second place in the 18-athlete field. Stigelman finished in 14th. It was Stigelman's first appearance in the pentathlon.
Tropp's runner-up finish was aided by a win in the 60-meter hurdles. The junior posted a time of 9.60, just .07 off of her previous season best. Tropp took fourth in the 800-meter run with a PR time of 2:41.49. Out of the five total events, Tropp placed in the top five in three and was never lower than eighth. Even in her lowest finish, the shot put, Tropp hit 26-9 3/4, topping her previous career best by more than three feet.
Stigelman bested her Marauder counterpart in the shot put. She placed seventh with a distance of 26-11.
