
Harman wins pole vault in Marauders' strong showing

Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania - Junior Erin Harman won the pole vault and Millersville totaled seven top-five finishes at Saturday's Susquehanna Invitational.
Millersville added three more PSAC Championships qualifiers as well with Deja Loose in the weight throw and Brianna Doherty and Kay Liebl in the long jump. Loose placed eighth with a toss of 41-3. She also placed fifth in the shot put with a season-best mark of 38-2 1/4. Liebl placed third with a personal-best jump of 17-9 1/2, and Doherty was close behind at 17-3 1/4.
Harman scored her second meet victory in the pole vault, hitting a mark of 11-5 3/4. Her best vault was nearly a foot better than the runner-up finisher. Harman owns the PSAC's fifth-best vault (11-7 3/4) and a NCAA provisional qualifier.
Madison Martin hit a personal best in the weight throw and finished second with a toss of 49-5 3/4. That mark was 7-5 3/4 better than her previous season best.
Madie Tropp finished as the runner-up in the 60-meter hurdles, posting a time of 9.54 and missing her season-best time by 0.01. Fellow sprinter Courtny Ingold posted a time of 8.06 in the 60-meter dash and placed fourth. Aniya Gibbs shaved a second off of her previous best 800-meter time, clocking in at 2:30.34
