Millersville, Pennsylvania -- The Millersville women's volleyball team lost their home opener 3-0 to Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference rival Edinboro Friday.
Edinboro won the first set 25-15. Edinboro would score multiple points in a row for every Millersville point. Edinboro won the second set 25-17 in similar fashion.
The Marauders rallied in the third set and took the lead early. The Marauders lead 18-15 when Edinboro called time out. After the timeout concluded, Edinboro went on a 10-3 run to close out the set and the match.
Kelsi Ceriani led Millersville with eight kills to two errors. She also had a block solo and two block assists.
The Millersville women's volleyball team's next event is Oct. 1 at home against Slippery Rock University.
