
Freed and Greene lead the Marauders to a second-place finish

Sanatoga, Pennsylvania -- The Millersville women's golf team finished second at the Ursinus Fall Inviational Tuesday as Danielle Freed and Danielle Greene tied for second place.
Freed and Greene finished two strokes behind the leader, shooting 11-over-par for a score of 82. Greene's second place finish is her highest this season, and she finishes the month of September with two top-3 finishes. Freed's second place finish is her highest this season. She posted three top-25 finishes in September.
Hailea Yocum posted her first top-20 finish of the year. The freshman finished tied for 16th shooting 25-over-par for a score of 96.
Alexa Strong posted her first top-25 finish of the year. The junior finished tied for 21st shooting 27-over-par for a score of 98.
The team finished two strokes behind the leader Ursinus College. The Marauders finished 11 strokes ahead of third place finisher and PSAC rival East Stroudsburg University.
The Millersville women's golf team's next event is Oct. 5 at the Alvernia Invitational at the Ledgerock Golf Club in Mohnton, Pa.
