Hilton Head, S.C. – Men's tennis was defeated by Missouri Valley on Friday, 9-0.
Missouri Valley swept all sets during the dual. Dylan Ryan, Christian Akerley, and Christian Boyer were the only three Marauders to score during both sets of their singles competition. Ryan lost 6-1 in both sets. Akerley went down, 6-1, 6-2, and Christian Boyer fell, 6-2, 6-1.
All doubles sets went to Missouri Valley. Akerley and Boyer put up a fight during their No. 2 doubles match against Vikings Johnathon Taylor and Davor Vajkovic. The match ended with Taylor and Vajkovic on top, 8-5.
Men's tennis continues competition taking on USciences on Sunday March 20.
